This is a petroglyph, which was Ancient art that Native
Americans made in Kentucky during the paleolithic period. Most petroglyphs were made by picking, scraping, or carving part of a rock's surface, but we used plaster
disks and paint and then we carved symbols into it before the plaster dried
completely.
Thanks Mrs. Smith for teaching us about Native American Art!
This art activity was so fun. But it was so fragile mine broke in tiny pieces on the bus I was devastated.
