My favorite book is called The Inventionof Hugo Cabret. He is a thief, clock maker/keeper, and inventor. He is a
very,very smart boy. His dad died when he was just a little boy. His uncle was
the clock keeper. His uncle drank a lot and got drunk one night. As a result,
he fell in a river and died. His dad finds an automaton in the attic and fixes
it by steeling little parts of toys from the toy booth. He meets a girl named
Isabella and meets her godfather and her godmother. Her godfather used to make
movies. Hugo’s favorite movie was called A
Trip to The Moon. Hugo was adopted from Isabella’s godparents. So,
technically Hugo and Isabella are brother and sister. Hugo goes back to school
and gets to see his friends again. I recommend this book because it’s not very
long book and the pictures are pencil drawn.

I would really like to read this book!It seems very nice but,it's only 4 AR points.:(
ReplyDeleteI think it's worth so few points because of all the pictures. Too, the words are in a large font, so I don't think it would take very long to read. Please don't pick a book because of the AR points. While I know you have to take that into consideration, don't make it the determining factor for picking out something to read. Read what you love, and you'll always love to read :-)
