Have you ever wondered if there was a city made completely out of plastic? Well, I know a city. This city’s name is Thneedville. The city only has plastic trees, and Ted, the main character, wants to get someone special a tree, a real tree. He goes out of town where he isn’t supposed to go and tries to find the person that cut down all of the trees. When he finally finds the person called the Onceler, he asks what happened to all the trees. He tells him a story about a man that goes somewhere to make sweaters, coats, and a lot more. The animals there love him until he cuts down a tree. The Lorax comes out and gets super mad at him. You will have to see the rest of the movie to find out what happens. I like this movie because it makes you want to laugh out loud. For example, there are these little bears, and when they see marshmallows they go crazy. Another reason I like this movie is because it teaches a lesson. We should conserve our resources and not cut down all the trees. This movie made me think about how we don’t take care of our planet.
