Fun Rides!

I went to Orlando Florida with my dad, my mom and my brother. Rides are like a roller coaster and you go to a seat that you want to sit and then the person that has control of the roller coaster has to make sure that the people is buckled in so people don’t fall off the ride. It was fun because my dad and I went to the small kid rides. My mom and my brother went to the big kid rides. Then we met together so we can get something to eat. Then we went back to ride some rides.

I like this trip is because we had fun and we ate food together. The part that I like is when my family had a good time. The ride that I like Orlando is a roller coaster that has chairs and you sit in them and then you go up a big hill. Then you will have to figure out the rest!

I didn’t like trip because the other people riding the rides were rude. They acted like they didn’t about anybody, and it just made me really mad. For example, this woman bumped into me, and she just walk on without even saying “excuse me” and “I’m sorry.”

I recommend this family trip 4 out of 5 paws, and I hope you like my report on my family trip. I hope you can do this sometime this summer with your family!!!!!!!

Champs is great!

Last summer, I went to Champs for my 9th birthday. Champs is a roller rink and Laser tag center rolled into one. The point of laser tag is to shoot the opponent with a beam of light. If you hit their sensor they have to wait to get back into the game. When you shoot the person he can’t shoot you until 2 minutes because the chest plate will have to recharge.

I like Champs because we get to go skating inside. They play music while you skate, and they also have cool fog machines. Too, the place is huge, so everyone has room to move.

Unfortunately, in order to play laser tag we had to wait 1 hour, and the people who played laser tag with me were mean. They were making fun of me because I never shot somebody with the laser.

You should choose champs because it is a good place for a party because you can go skating and go play laser tag. I hope you come to this place on your next birthday, and I hope you have a good time there. I give Champs 4 paws.

Very Despicable

Everywhere you hear about evil. You hear it on television, you hear it from your parents, and you especially see it on the internet. Not all evil is actually bad though. Like in the movie Despicable Me. Evil villain, Gru, has sinister plans to… STEAL THE MOON! His minions and sidekick will work and work. But will trying to take down competition foil his plans?
This movie was funny, sad, and a little weird. One thing that it’s lacking though, which I feel every movie needs, is a surprise. I mean, the only thing that was close to a surprise was when his sidekick tried to give the girls away because Gru was focusing on them more than his work. I have to say though this movie is number one when it comes to funniness. His minions are little yellow things that are out of the park funny. They’re what make this movie a little weird.
Over this entire movie definitely deserves 4 paws. And if you like this movie, you’ll like the movie Hop even more. It’s the perfect Easter movie, by the same creators.

The Beacon Street Girls

Have you ever moved a lot but never felt like you were home? Well, for Charlotte in the Beacon Street Girls, this couldn’t be truer.  She has been many places around the world including Africa and France. Now she is moving to Boston where she grew up. Her mom had died there, but they were still moving. Charlotte’s dad is a writer and likes to move where his books take place, but this year he is going to be teaching at a college. Charlotte always has a first day problem. For example, when she went to Africa she went in the boy’s bathroom because she didn’t know what it said. Do you think Charlotte can survive the first day without a disaster?
I really liked this book. The writer really let you know how the characters felt and thought.  For example, she uses a lot of thoughshots that let the reader know what the characters are thinking. She is a really good writer.
One thing I didn’t like about the book is people in the book were really mean to Charlotte in the beginning. For example they thought she was really stuck up, so they ignored her and refused to talk to her.
If you want to read a book that will make you never want to stop reading it you should get The Beacon Street Girls. I would give this book 4 out of 5 paws.

Dairy Queen

Dairy Queen is a fast food place. They are known for their amazing ice cream called a Blizzard. But they also serve cheeseburgers and French fires, chicken baskets and chicken fingers.

I went there on the first week of February. What I liked about Dairy Queen I got a really good cheeseburger and a cookie dough blizzard.

What I didn’t like about going was it took forever to get our food. I ate all my fries and my whole cheeseburger. Then I got queasy because I was still on my pain medicine from my surgery, and it makes me nauseous when I eat too much. So I had to eat my Blizzard at home.

Dairy Queen has really good food and is a great fast food restaurant, considering it takes forever to get your food. I give this restaurant four paws.

A Year Down Yonder

One book I kind of liked was A Year down Yonder. A 16-year-old girl named Mary Alice, the sister of Joey in the previous book, and her mom and dad are having a hard time managing money. Joey, Mary Alice’s brother, moved away and found work in the west. So Mary Alice will have to leave Chicago and live with her grandma for a whole year, and she will have to attend a new school. The kids at the school make fun of her, and she only has a friend or two. Will Mary Alice survive a year with grandma?

One of the reasons I like this book is that it is funny. For example, when Mary Alice was performing in the school play, the adults made the most popular girl in school take off all her make up. Another reason why I like this book is when Joey, Mary Alice’s big brother, comes all the way from the west to see her perform in the play. I think that was nice, generous, and loving, and that is why I liked this part of the book.

The part of the book I didn’t like was that grandma sometimes is mean and cruel. Once she threw a bucket of glue on Augie’s head. I don’t like when Aguie’s had to peel his hair off because no kid deserves that type of punishment. Another reason why I don’t like this part of the book is now Augie has the worst hairdo of his entire life. I just think grandma is just mean and cruel. That is why I don’t like this part of the book. Other than that I would support this book. If you like old style books or books back in the old days, then this is the perfect book for you I give it four paws.
