The Disney Dream!

Have you ever wanted to go to a place that has rides, a huge water park and so much more? Well there is a place and it is called Disney world. When I went there it was so awesome. We went everywhere, when you go there you should go on the Dumbo ride it is grand. When you go to Disney world, you feel like you get to spend more time with your family. You get to meet all of the Disney characters and get to feel like you are in a movie. You should definitely go. It is breathtaking.

I love Disney World because the rides were thrilling, the food was delicious, and the water park was amazing. For example, my favorite ride was the Dumbo ride. It felt like we were flying! Disney has the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. And we stayed for hours playing in the water park. The people that worked there were nice too. Everyone who works there has a smile on their face!

The thing I didn’t like was the long wait for everything. It took over an hour just to ride one ride, and we had to wait in line for a super long time just get pizza.

You should really go to Disney World. It is so much fun. You get to spend time with your family and friends. If you do have the chance to go I bet you will have an awesome time.

I give Disney World five paws (even though you have to wait to ride the rides!)

Swimmin' with the Mermaids!

Emily Windsnap is a girl who is full of questions. She lives on a house boat but has never been in a bath, ocean, or the pool before! So she tries to take swimming lessons. As she is in the water, she feels strange, so she jumps quickly out on the side of the pool, and is scared to go back in the water. She needs to know what was happening! That night she snuck out of the boat. She needed to know why she felt this way in the water. She jumped in… there was the feeling. She looked down it was unbelievable…SHE WAS A MERMAID!! Will she be able to live in both worlds?

I love this book. In the book The Tail of Emily Windsnap my favorite part is when Emily really finds out that she is a mermaid. For example, that night she finds out that she is a mermaid she swims around and she thinks it is a dream! That makes you want to read on and on.

This series has many books, so you can enjoy many adventures with Emily. When you read this book you feel like you are in the story and you are with Emily the whole time. The whole series is exciting and fun and you will not be able to put the book down. If you love fun and adventurous books than this is the book for you to read! I would give this book 5 stars.

Weird Times at Grandma's!

Hard times have hit a family very, very HARD. Mary Alice’s brother, Joey, has left home in search of a job. So there is not enough room for the family in their small apartment. Therefore, Mary Alice has to move in with her grandma. Mary Alice is not used to the country, only because she always lived in Chicago. Everyone calls her the city girl. Mary Alice will have to survive this lifestyle for a year. Do you think she will fit in?

I like this book because you feel like you go on many adventures with grandma, and you want to see what sly plan she will do next. For example, grandma stole pecans from an old man’s tree and got away with it. Her grandma is a big woman and gets away with sneaky tricks.

The book makes you feel like you are in the story experiencing what is happening. I recommend this book to you! You will never be able to put this book down, I give this book 5 paws.

A Long Way From Chicago

Have you ever went to your grandmas and have not fit in? Well Joey and Mary Alice feel the same way. In the book A Long Way From Chicago, Mary Alice and her brother Joey go to visit their grandma. They live in Chicago, and their grandma lives in a small town in the country. Their grandma is not a regular person. Lots of people in town are scared of her. She is a big woman who plays sly tricks, and gets away with it.
My favorite part in this book is when grandma pulls sly tricks. For example, she had sewed MTL on a quilt and then went to a sale and tried to make people believe that the quilt belonged to Mary Todd Lincoln. Do you think that grandma will make money off the quilt?  Another example is she has a stove pipe hat she brought to the sale and said it was Abraham Lincoln’s hat. Do you think the Towns people will fall for grandma’s tricks?
I like this book and I recommend it. This book also has a sequel which is called A Year Down Yonder so you can keep on reading! I rate this book with 5 paws. What sly tricks will grandma pull next?!?!

Popcorn and Diapers!

Have you ever laughed so hard you peed your pants? Well, if you have you probably will need a diaper if you watch the show Marvin Marvin. This show is about an alien that comes to earth because his planet was in danger of being destroyed.

I like Marvin Marvin because it has funny scenes. For example, Marvin had a soccer ball and the mom was making soup. He ran an he tossed the ball into the soup and it splattered everywhere!! It’s a really cool show!

This show is on 33 at 8:00p.m. every Saturday. If you like funny shows, you should check it out (but make sure to have your popcorn and diapers ready! J)

I give this show 5 paws!
